The Proudest Mommy....

October 16, 2008 - the Honor Roll awards night at my son's school. I sat very proud and all smiles while I waited for the program to start. I was surprised by a school letter handed to me by my son last week. It was an invitation to attend this very important night. The school is awarding all students that was able to get in the honor roll last year. And... my son is one of them. This is what I've been waiting for... for my son's turn to feel the return of his academic endeavors. All parents were so proud... and the atmosphere is an air of a bright hope for the future. Truly a celebration.

My son... you made mommy so proud! You can ask anything! Anything at all...

Congratulations to your son for being one of the awardees. I mingle with students who know how to focus on their studies and later on receive well deserved recognitions. They truly make their parents proud and their teachers as well. May the award that he received serves as inspiration for his long journey in the world of learning.

And Congratulations to you for being an important part of your son's success.

Congrats to you and your very deserving son! I'm so happy and glad he's made it after all the efforts he put into it! So, has he decided on his future path? I wish him a successful path ahead. I get really excited whenever I read other people's successes. It inspires me to push harder in life.

Cheers, and enjoy the weekend!

Thanks too Share! He mentioned he liked to go into aeronautical Engg. He still have 3 years to go before university though. I hope he continues to have very good grades so he can avail of the Schools university scholarship program. It would be great help considering the high cost of university studies here.

I know you yourself is very good at school. Continue to strive and invest on your knowledge for it is something that no one can take from you.

have agood day!

Aeronautical Engineering is something I have dreamt of studying back then. I have a friend in the US currently studying this and she said it's a very tough course but with perseverance, I'm sure your son will be able to achieve his dreams! I have full confidence your son will soon prove his worth and win the scholarship. Coming from an average-income family I can personally say I understand the meaning of receiving it. Without the education fund aid from Government, I doubt I am able to pursue tertiary education.
I'm not a religious person but I pray and hope for your son's success! =D

Thanks for the prayers Share. That is so nice of you. I pray the same for you. So, what course are you taking? If you don't mind my asking.

Getting a scholarship means you are gifted. Continue to do your best.. in a fun way and you're on your way to a prosperous futire.

see ya!
