I envy Buddy. I can't wear ordinary shades. My eyes are 500/700 compare to his 20/20 vision.
wow you need a prescription shades Juleste! the health insurance covers that here. Of course it would cost a lot but you need something to protect your eyes.

The cost is more than half of my one-month salary :-( its really expensive here. Its enough to have my ultra-thin glasses on all the time. Geeting a prescription shades will be a luxury.
It is quite expensive Jules. Here though is different. It is covered by the governemnt health care or the company insurance. It is a must here. We need to protect our eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. I myslef noticed that after the long winter grey and dimmed days...summer brightness brings headache because the eyes are not used to too much brightness anymore.
I wish we have a better health care in the Phils.
