My cousin has a pear tree in his backyard. Every summer it blossoms and bears the sweetest, crunchiest pear fruits. When there's just enough for harvest, my cousin will call for a backyard bbq that will end to hand picking of the fruits to be taken home.

wow! i think this line describes it best>>> the sweetest, crunchiest pear fruits.
Kamusta DonG! still in paradise?
hehe...this pear reminds me of guava but sweeter and less seeds. I like the crunchiness the best becasue it's like crackers but yet healthy. it's best eaten when not ripe though.
salamat sa pagdalaw. Naisip ko tuloy..it's so nice of you to peek from the clouds!
God bless!
Its nice to see pears up in a tree. Pears imported from China or somewhere else are abundant here during Christmas season.
I think of Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan's old flick "City of Angels" everytime I see luscious pears. Have you tried eating pears dipped in honey? If you've seen the movie you know what I mean. If not, I must warn you that its a tearjerker. But if you want to know what's pear got to do with it, see for yourself.
Going back to the last photo, do I see a partridge in the pear tree? :-)
Pear dipped in honey!?! whoa! i can imagine unripr mangoes being dipped in honey but pears?? hmm..it's sweet already.. no need for honey. But it sounds exotic...hehe. anyway, i haven't seen the City of Angels movie and if your saying its a tearjerker...i'd wait for it in DVD and have my tissues near while watching it in the comfort of my home.
Partridge? only if i'm counting the days before christmas!!!
thanks for dropping by!
