Anything I want Mommy? ... uh, who said that?

I remember telling one of my kids to ask anything and I’ll give it. Hmmm.... it’s because he made it to the honour roll and made mommy so proud. He also said he doesn’t need anything right now but would like to keep the option open. Completely fine with me.

Meanwhile... the other kid thought she could also ask anything she wants. She probably thought that since her Kuya can’t decide what he wants, maybe she could give it a go? And go she did! “Can I have my birthday gift in advance? Please?” Oh, here we go again. Night and day she negotiated. She bugged us to death.

..... until we gave in. A gift that is 2 months early. What can I say? Anything for peace and quiet. :)

Her Kuya’s eyebrow raised and his jaw dropped when the gift arrived. Well, you are just too darn slow!

My two kids are on opposite poles. My son doesn’t want anything and my daughter wants everything! How convinient is that? I guess my daughter is so happy to have a kuya like that....

That is so sweet! I'm sure your daughter is over the moon with the advance bday gift! I have the tendency to request everything in advance but now I'm more patient and willing to wait[hehe! Nothing longer than 3 months though!] =D

Oh she was Share. She was all over it. Wasn't able to sleep on the first night and nobody can even touch it but her.

Anyway, I hope she takes care of it until her birthday comes.

hahahaha.... lucky lucky little sister. it's really good to reward kids doing good in their studies. i too was rewarded for doing good when i was a kid. but when i grew up i learn to give out my best even without those rewards.

good job em!

Oh, I forgot to add.

I'm glad you bought her the Product (Red). She must be proud to know she is helping the charity. ;)

That is exactly the reason why she picked red, Share. Although it really looks good too. It took us a while to find the color though. It seemed to be always out of stock.

the daughter surely knows what she wants for her birthday. i wonder what the son will ask once he makes up his mind.

the daughter's request reminds me a bit a gift attitude that i'm familiar with: sabihin mo na saken kung anong gusto mong regalo para di na ko mahilo kakaisip kung ano ang ibibigay ko sa 'yo. or, sabihin ko na sa 'yo kung anong gusto kong gift para di ka na ma-stress sa kaka-isip at kaka-hula. kahit di na ko ma-surprise, okay lang kase knowing that it came from you is a surprise in itself. 'wag mo na ring balutin kase your hands that will tenderly give the gift is more precious than the rustan's gift wrapper. tama na saken ang regaluhan mo ko ng susi na manggagaling sa kaibuturan ng iyong puso... susi ng isang brand new bmw o susi ng isang condo unit jan sa bandang ayala ave...

I don't have to worry about the son Juleste. He seldom ask for anything. Ako na mismo ang naiinip at nagsusuggest kung anong bibilihin. He doesn't want a new cellphone, he doesn't want ipod, he does not eant a new game console. He's a total bum...hehe.

The other one is a real Diva. Buti nalang babae. She knows what she wants and knows how to manipulate someone to get it...hehe.

Hay... why are we so soft when it comes to our kids?? We can sacrifice our own needs so they can have some comfort. Anyway, the answer is simple... it's because we love them.
